How the bonus 650 miles work
When you order a new Tesla through a referral link, Tesla credits your account with bonus Supercharging miles. They sit in your Tesla app and are automatically used the next time you plug into a Supercharger — no codes, no vouchers.
- Eligibility: You must use the referral link before you place the order. You can't add it after the fact.
- Where it shows up: In the Tesla app under Loot Box / Rewards once your order is confirmed.
- Expiry: Typically valid for 6 months from delivery — plenty of time for a couple of long road trips.
Why a 24-month term changes the maths
Most Tesla leases default to 36 or 48 months. A 24-month term means:
- Lower lifetime risk — you're committed to less total spend.
- Faster upgrades — Tesla's tech moves fast; 2 years keeps you on a current model.
- Newer battery tech sooner — by your next lease, range and charging speeds will likely have improved.
